About Zach Granger

Private Music Instructor

Zach Granger was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. There is where his passion of music started when he started to take guitar at the age of thirteen. He attended college at the University of Northern Colorado and received his Bachelors degree in Music Education,with an emphasis in classical guitar. Although his degree is in guitar, he has experience with all instruments. In his program he taught in a range of classrooms including high school orchestra, middle school orchestra, and middle school band.

Along with his experience in classical music he also spent a great deal of time with rock, blues, and bluegrass music. This large variety of instruments and styles gives him great versatility in the field of private teaching. In Colorado, he worked for several different stores and schools. At the height of his teaching, had over 40 students a week.

He moved to the area with his wife, Natalie, while she was attending graduate school at George Mason University for Vocal Performance. He is very excited to be in the area and see everything Virginia has to offer.
